BAYESIAN INTERIM ANALYSIS OF THE MIXTURE OF LOMAX DISTRIBUTIONS

Abstract: Based on an interim type one censored sample of size n, a Bayesian predictive approach is adopted to obtain the predictive probability that if testing is continued for a further type I censored of size m, a decision will be reached regarding the three parameters of the mixture of Lomax distributions. An informative prior and a non informative prior are considered. Numerical illustration is presented.
