Some aspects of a sub-class of modified power series distributions

Abstract:
A class of distributions belonging to the family of modified power series distributions has been derived as weighted restricted generalized Poisson distribution. Probability generating function, Moments, Inverse moments, Incomplete moments, Distributions of sums and difference, Complete sufficient statistic, Information inequality, UMP test, Estimation and Limiting distributions of the class have been studied.
