Interval Estimation of the Parameters of the Multinomial
Distribution
by Juan Carlos Correa
.
Abstract:
The multinomial distribution is one of the most used
in practical applications as a generalization of the binomial
distribution. The binomial has been widely studied by the
researchers in relation with interval estimation. We compare several
formulas proposed to construct confidence intervals for the parameters
of the multinomial distribution via simulation.
